Would you like to learn how to capture mood, light, and atmosphere on paper? Welcome to the course “The World of Watercolor” led by experienced artist and teacher Irina Kopeikina.

Irina is a master with over 20 years of teaching experience in painting, composition, and design. She graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts, earned a Master’s degree in pedagogy, co-founded the Design School at the Baltic International Academy, and has taken part in numerous exhibitions and plein air sessions across Europe. Her classes inspire students to work boldly with color and to find their own unique style in watercolor.

• You will get acquainted with watercolor materials and the secrets of watercolor techniques.
• You will paint still lifes with fruits, glass objects, and flowers, learning to depict transparency and vibrancy.
• You will create seascapes and mountain landscapes, mastering atmospheric perspective and water reflections.
• You will capture scenes from Latvian and Italian cities, focusing on perspective, composition, and mood.

After 8 sessions, you will have a complete series of your own watercolor artworks, confidence in using this technique, and a special appreciation for watercolor painting.

Those who wish may continue studying further and deepen their knowledge of the watercolor world.

What you will learn in the workshop (1 session):

• You will explore watercolor materials, discover essential technique secrets, and complete one finished artwork.

Each workshop features a different theme and final piece, so you won’t repeat topics when signing up for the next session. Instruction is tailored to each participant, adapting to your personal pace and schedule.

Payment:

• Payment: 100% by bank transfer or via the website izoart.lv.
• Payments are non-refundable; however, you may freeze your subscription and use it later if you have a valid reason (e.g., illness or business travel).

Rescheduling:

• You may reschedule 1 session per month for free, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
• If you miss more than one session, a doctor’s note is required.
• Sessions that are missed without prior notice are considered completed.

• All materials are included in the price.

Practical information

• Please arrive at the studio 10 minutes before the session.
• Photography and video may be taken during lessons for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please inform a staff member.
• When working with paints and materials, please dress accordingly and leave your workspace tidy after class.
